Amy A. Edwards
Board Certified Family Law Specialist
Although I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, I spent my summers in Greenville, and moved here permanently in 1987. Since 2000, I have been fortunate to do what I love, representing clients in family law matters in Greenville and Pitt County. I remain fascinated with the law and the families it touches.
In 2011, I was certified as a Family Law Specialist by the NC State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. This designation requires a peer review process and successful completion of an exam similar to the bar exam but exclusively in the area of family law. For years, I have been a volunteer attorney in Operation Stand-By, a program managed by the ABA’s Military Pro Bono Project, assisting military attorneys with state-specific law (family law).
