Located in downtown Greenville, we are a small law firm with three attorneys. We will be changing our firm name to Amy Edwards & Associates in the coming weeks, replacing the name Amy Edwards Family Law.

Currently, our practice includes family law, estates law and elder law and personal injury. To offer clients a wider range of professional services, we are searching for an associate attorney who practices in a different area of the law, such as criminal law or bankruptcy law for example. The candidate must already be competent in his or her area of practice, and bring/generate his or her own client base. We’re seeking an attorney with at least 2-5 years of experience.

We offer a pleasant work environment and pride ourselves on our dedicated “hands-on” approach with clients, as well as high ethical standards. The clients we serve are varied but many are employed by and/or associated with East Carolina University, the School of Medicine, and the large local medical community. Our office has ample parking and is within walking distance from both the state and federal courthouses, and located near to the US Bankruptcy Court (Eastern District).

Starting compensation depends on individual circumstances, including whether support staff will accompany him or her, but compensation will be based on a percentage of gross fees earned. This is an employee position and payroll taxes are paid by the firm. Other benefits include payment of CLE, dental and vision insurance, state and local bar fees, NC Bar Association membership, Westlaw and malpractice insurance.
