Mediation
Mediation comes in different types. In child custody and marital property cases, most districts in the state courts require both types of mediation before the parties are given a trial date. It is a good opportunity to settle your case without court. Mediators help the parties attempt to reach an agreement. They do not make any decisions for the parties.
